after the installation of a brand new set of tein s-tech springs in my tc, i notice that the driver side is 1 inch lower than the passenger side.

i did an alighment: still uneven
i bought new shocks/strut: still uneven
i switch the front spring: still uneven

i dont know what else to do!!
does anyone knows a solution?

 

is it just the fronts or both the front and back on one side?
is the spring unseated?

 

just the front.

 

it's because of the weight of the transmission but an inch is alot so double check on how you compressed the springs but give it 2 weeks for them to settle a little bit and then see if it evens out abit.

my car is like this too except i dont have lowering springs haha...im not really sure what causes it.

how many miles do u have on your car?

when i intalled the stech a saw that the front drivers side was lower that the other side.

i let them settle for 1 month.... nothing happends, the driver side still lower
then:

i bough new tokico shocks....... nothing happends, the driver side still lower

now i dont know what else to do.

 

Its probably because you sit in the drivers side putting more weight on the left springs/struts. My TRD's settled the same way but I put some weights on the passenger side when im not driving the car so it settles evenly. Try that and maybe things will fall into place.

 

well my coworker has like 300 + pounds, i am going to be giving him ride to work next week to see if that works jajaja. for real. ill let u guys know.

Add a ring to the spring or spacers.. should work.

 

yeah im lower on driverside also .... i been lowered on trds for over 1 year and i also notice that my rear driver wheel camber is off compared to rear passenger but everything is withn specs on paper:?

 

My TRD springs settled the same way. I got tired of it so I just got coilovers and havent looked back lol.

 

mmmm i dont think that settle is my issue. because the side that is lower that the other is way too low almost rubbing the tire and the s-tech dont go that low.

 

you could always swap the springs in the front man, just put the driver on the passenger, itll work or drive around with sandbags on the passenger side for a while.
