Driver Window problem

Default Driver Window problem

For some apparent reason, recently my driver window has been acting up, it goes comes up VERY slow, and comes down EVEN slower! any ideas on how to fix it

bump. can't think of any brother...possibly water might have gotten into the panel and rusted out the mechanism...maybe need to re-lube it.....you confortable openning the door panel to check? otherwise take to your mechanic to have them check it

ok thanks man, will do, ill take it apart and see and if i dont see anything, ill take it to the mechanic =D

before you go to the trouble of taking it all apart, try this!

Silicone spray into the rubber run channels you can see when the window is down.. they're probably dry and the motor that raises and lowers the window is running slow cuz of friction with the unlubed rubber.

use silicone spray on those vertical areas where the window goes up and down in the door frame (you can see it with the window down)
