Havent been on here for a while, so i apologize if im posting this on the wrong thread.
But as stated on the title my driver side window wont fully go down anymore. is there any way that i can do to fix it myself? if i cant fix it myself then then my last resort is to take it to the shop.
Does anyone know how i could be able to get to the motor? i know how to remove the interior pieces but dont know how to get to the motor.
Any input anyone?

I could be wrong, but not going down fully doesn't sound like the reset issue. When the battery is disconnected, the reset is required because the window wont move at all - won't go down if it was up when the battery was disconnected, won't go up if it was down when the battery was disconnected.
After doing the reset, it should go up and down fully - not stop part way down repeatedly.
Another somewhat common problem is the window track being bent. It can get 'snagged' by the door stop. Read here:

I believe each of us that posted in that thread had the track bent so bad, the window came out of the track, and would not come back up fully. Possible your track may be bent, preventing it from going down...don't know, just throwing that out there.
Another possibility is something being caught in the 'scissor' mechanism that actually moves the window. Does it seem to bind and then stop, or does it just go down smoothly, but stop abruptly?
If resetting doesn't do anything, take off the door panel and the plastic sheet covering. You can pop the window switch out of the door panel, and plug it back into the harness. Operate the window, and maybe you'll be able to see what is making it stop.
