Default Driving through the desert with the tC

Anyone drive the tC through the deserts (CA, NV)? Is the A/C strong enough? Do you need to cover the sunroof? What if you don't, do you bake? Thanks!

Well I live in the desert and it's not that hot yet to make a good judgement on the A/C. So far it's working well but again, it hasn't even reached 100 yet (been in the 90's though once or twice). I leave the sunroof covered during the day or else the inside will bake but I drive with it open with no problems.

Last summer I was driving to Lake Mead from las Vegas. The outside temp gauge started at 110 and on the way to the lake it peaked at 119!

AC was still ice cold.

I live in Vegas, work in L.A.
Made several trips here to there...
AC is fine, keep the shade closed when there is direct sunlight or bake your flesh... it's not a temp thing as it is a direct sunlight thing... or get 5% tint on it.

No Problems

I live in the desert, the a/c is fine. I drive between phoenix and tucson every weekend and it's plenty comfortable. Right now though, it's not hot enough to really render a need for a/c. I just put down the windows and open the roof and I'm fine. Remember it's civilized country out here, not Iraq.
