Default driving w/o engine cover please help me out

i was wondering if it is safe to drive without my engine cover while it as the paint dries... i saw some foam underneath the cover itself and was wondering if there is a hazard driving without the foam protection. thanks for your help in advance.

If he didn't have a valve cover, He'd know pretty damn quick that it wasn't copasetic! lol...

And yeah, drivin w/o the engine cover is perfectly fine...its 100% for looks...I mean, I'm sure it shield a TINY bit of heat...but I would have heat shielding on the bottom if it were an essential part for keeping heat down...

the foam is supposed to deaden the "clicking" of the injectors. this is why there are holes in it, sound enters and is cancelled. still, perfectly fine w/o it...

Engine cover is only for looks, doesn't really leave any protection to your bay, at least that's what i think.
