If soneone came out with a kit for conversion to dual for the tC damn straight i would buy it......or just fiddle with it myself
Tib = v6 (some)
350z = v6

Four cylinder cars = one header + one exhaust.

whoa buddy i am so not talking about coming out of the side skirt. that is total rice.

im talking like same area it comes out now, but on the driver side of the car.

shorter route, straighter as well.

So then would adding 18+ wheels be rice? If you follow what you said about useless weight then it would be. Most people aint going to shell out the money to get light weight 18+ wheels, so this just adds dead weight to the car. As for this topic, if he wants to add a extra pipe from his muffler to the driver side of the car, why not suggest something to help him not bash him. Also about the tibs using dual even there 4 bangers have them from the factory these days. The V6 is only a 2.7L so only .3L more then the 2.4L in the tC. I would suggest looking into a local muffler shop, if your going to go dual should at least have a shop do it right so you might free up some power. If done right, meaing no 2.5" or great chrome tip, I think it would look good.

Edit: Also I just recalled what about the RX-8? That has a dual exahust tip set up & thats only a 2 rotor engine.

Edit Edit: Sorry im really out of it today, I took a look at the scion build your car 3d picture thing & see how the muffler is set up. If you just wanted dual exhaust tips, I would say go with something like a Flowmasters 40 Series Delta Flow muffler. You would need to weld up some new hangers & the connecting pipe to the stock exhaust along with the pipes to the rear of the car.

dual exhaust would be nice, yeah 4clyn you loose power, but that mind with a supercharger and other options could make a nicely breathing car! and the look for a tC.. hubba hubba hubba.. or even a center exhaust on somthing like this.

/shrug, I got something good out of this thread.... and it's Laugh@Rice.com

It's not even the cars that are funny(although some are) but more so the expression on their faces [/url]

Dual Exhausts look extremely nice... ;p

It's useless to debate abut what is ricey and what isn't... Waste of everyone's time... It's personal preference... (Although someone made a good point on 18" wheels...)

Personally... I think stickers... Huge bodykits... CF spoilers... Noisy exhausts... Are all pretty ricey... But like I say... It's personal preference...

with a super charger you dont want a huge exhaust. more than likely 2.25" for your vehicle.

for turbo ont he other hand... 3" +

I dont know if this is a good idea or not, but I know that nissan uses a variable capacity muffler on the sentra se-r and the 4 cyl altimas. The engines are practically the same size. Dunno if anyone has ever considered swapping a nissan capacity variable muffler.

If someone likes the look of dual exhaust outlets WTF is the difference. My 95 grand am has dual outlets, mines a v6 but I know the 4cyl have dual outlets too, people have changed to a single and noticed NO difference. I like how they look, but only because I'm used to it and the bumper was designed for duals, duals on a bumper NOT made for duals would NOT look good IMO.

muffler shops shouldnt have much trouble making a cutout to match the cutout on the passenger side if you wanted them to.
