TJTC,

thats why you make your bumper look like it was made for 2!

its easy to make a lil oval cut into it.

But going from 2 down to 1 its harder to add to the bumper.

From the time I first saw the tC and decided that I wanted one, I thought that it needed a single pipe out each side. Call me a ricer if you want, I don't care... it's my car, and that's the way I want it to look and sound. I'm yet undecided on whether I want to split behind the cat and use two mufflers or just rout off the existing one. I know that either way it'll add extra weight, but I figured that with the coming supercharger and CAI the added HP will compensate... not to mention that more air in needs more air out.

if u want some nice gains.. go straight pipe from the engine back. no cats. split it at the end then for dual outlets.

I don't really want any trouble with the law, though about having no cat.....

I think that it's the same for CA, but not sure.... I'm just concerned with the "what if" factor

ya know if you go headewrs with no cat. add a high flow cat from magnaflow to your exhaust at some point. have them make a 02 bung there and just exted your o2 sensor there for emissions you'll pass also. but now you have only one high flow cat and still have awesome headers.

2x pipes on the tC should be for show only.
upon arguing... nobody mentioned the s2000 which is a 4 with 2 pipes. also toyotas own mr2. can 2x pipes be all that bad if theyre on these 4 bangers?
eh... either way.. i still prefer the look of one pipe.

that's NICE.... looks a little like a Tib. That's almost exactly what I had in mind for it!
Is that a TRD cap?

yeah its trd..i love the way one sounds..but 2 would be monsterous...i would think it would conflict though if you have 2 mufflers because both axel back..both kind of big..would it make any diff if you split of the one muffler tho?

yeah, I've been reconsidering the twin mufflers for most of the day.... I may just end up placing one muffler sideways and routing off in both directions. Well, if space allows, anyway. I don't think I'm going to use TRD tips, they look a little big when paired like that
