Dumb question. Do we pay for EACH TC scheduled maintenance?
I have no idea. I've never had a new car. Do we have like free 3 year scheduled maintenance? What if you take extended warranty? Maybe 5 year? Or nothing at all free? Please help.

This makes you wonder if they did maintance on there used vehical. Though if you look at the manual of a car most of it just doing regular oil changes, lubs, after so many miles changing out your radiator fluid.....etc....etc....it's truely not any thing big or expensive your first 3 years. Cause it's not until you get futher into the milage ranges that you need to do more than that.

Toyota offers an auto care pack that covers oil changes
for the length of the extended warranty. I got it for my
box because it was something like $550 and I figured to
do the oil myself for 5 years would be $450. It was worth it
for me to be lazy. I think you might be able to still get it for
your Scion, but you'd have to pay cash rather then finance.

It is Mitsu, http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMSA/S...entCertificate
Yea, Mitsubishi is rumored to be going bankrupt, so maybe it's a gamble they are willing to take to boost the sales.

Some dealers do give out free oil change (per 5000 miles) for life though...

Audi includes 4 years or 50,000, whichever comes first. I think that some other luxury cars do also. Of course, it is not really free, just included in the price of the car.
I think that luxury makers do this to prevent dealers from trying to rip off customers by charging rediculous prices for routine service as they used to do (and still do once the "free" service period runs out).

you don't have to change the coolant and sparkplugs for 90K+ miles.... tahts seems pretty maintenance free for me
change your airfilter and pcv valve every 15K wipers whenever they go bad, tire rotation regurarly and your gear oil every 60K if you feel like it even though i've seen toyotas come into the shop with over 200K on their original gear oil and still running like a champ
auto trannies, get your fluid changed every 30K to keep it nice and red

yeah speaking of auto tranmissions, there is NO recommended interval for the fluid change in the tC.. i finally looked at the dipstick and it says "no fluid change, lifetime fluid" or something like that.. I really don't agree, what are your thoughts mach5?
