eeh everyone comes to the crossroads
I've decided that a Supercharger might not be too good of an investment on my daily driver, seeing as how I really have no clue how to maintain a Supercharged car, or a turbo charged one for that matter.
I've got the I/H set up and i will stay N/A. What else (power wise) can I do to my car to bump up my HP, maybe even reach 170-180 WHP? I really open for suggestions, i've seen some mighty quick N/A TC's
BTW (AEM Cold Air, and EVO2 Axle back is all performance wise)

Yea I figured 180 was pushing it too much but dreaming does not cost a thing i suppose.
I thought about that Agency Pulley but is it worth it on a non Supercharged motor?
Does a downpipe give more performance as well? maybe 2-4 HP?

Dont quote me on this but w/ header, S-pipe and catback exhaust, gains can be fairly significant. However, at that point, youre spending around $1000. Daily driver...... maybe change to a better tire set up, or get good lowering springs w/ dampers instead. But thats just my opinion.
Header would probably give the most in terms of bolt on power, but it gives that nasty noise (youtube header and tC). Some ppl will say add resonator, but thats just more $$. IMO, not worth it for a DD.

why is the supercharger not good for a daily driver? and as far ar maitenace goes, it is pretty simple to maintain. the only thing i think you have to do is check the oil dip stick everytime you fill up with gas.
really isn't hard to maintain, and your dealership will know what to do. as will most regular places you take. it isn't that complex.

do you have to let it idle for a bit after you drive for with a SC like you do a turbo?
i was considering getting the SC just because its only like 1800$ and would make the car a lot more fun to drive, would it not? but then again for 1800 i could buy a 300hp camaro or something lol

I have had the tC with the S/C as my daily driver for half a year now. Maintenance is pretty simple with it, and the installation instruction booklet that comes with the kit has your regular maintenance suggestions, which are not that much.
Granted, you might save more $$ not going with the S/C, but I like the fact that i have it. Thats my $0.02
