dropped it off at the dealer today.. tech said it sounded like either an exhaust leak, pinging, or a ignition timing issue. We'll see...

4/10/06 3pm Update: well, they said that it WAZ an exhaust leak..loose bolts on the manifold (...maybe from when i had my header on there. can't believe they didn't see the o2 sensor welded back in there!) friggin 150 bucks to tight exhaust manifold bolts!! BS.!

 

^^ All that and it was a problem you likely created from having a header on there? Good thing you "took that POS in."

 

yeah, well, i'm just going to have to ignore the rattles, "clinks" , suspension creaks and all other various ticks/defects/flaws for the time being.. I need a car to DRIVE. In the words of my bro (who drives an 05 corolla), "My car [tc] has been IN the shop more days than its been OUT!" ...not really, but annoyingly close though. I guarantee i could pass for lemon status...if it didn't LOOK so damn good! ;)
