Default epically loud tC video

so for those who are wondering how awful my car sounds, and as a good reference people who wonder what a supercharged scion tc with a stock intake, trd supercharger, weapon-r 4-2-1 header and s-pipe, and full 3 inch exhaust with a high flow car, resonator, and muffler sound like, here you go. it is loud, raspy, and sounds awful. but i have lived with it for 11 months now, i'm thinking about going to get it quieted down tomorow by adding a second muffler or swapping the current muffler for a quieter one.

there is also some amazing autocross action, and some of kanundrum's runs in his saab 9-3 turbo X!

Pretty cool. I just traded in my 2004 Saab 9-3 today for a new 2009 White tC.

Didn't seem all that loud, but then I realized my computer was on mute. Sounds about what I thought it would.

uses for epically loud exhaust:
1. scarring away wild life near the road (two nights ago i was following a friend home, when there was a deer in the road, i shifted to neutral floored the throttle, scared the deer so much, he bolted out of the road, and actually ran into a fence!)

2. getting tailgaters to back the heck off your bumper.

3. getting a redneck at an intersection in his hemi dodge ram to stop revving his engine at the little old lady in her dodge neon.

4. blowing away bicyclist! i mean seriously, get your butt on the shoulder, do not ride in the middle of the damn lane!

5. when getting car serviced at dealership, i always know when they start and when the finish working on it, no need to wait to be called.

6. nobody could ever drive off in my car without me knowing about it!

probably some more that i haven't thought of.

actually if you think about making your car loud is like a security system...if someone try to steal your car at 2am in the morning and they start it i guaranted you they would be taking that car.....lous cars have pros and cons...i agree %100 with draxcaliber it might be annyoing at times but youlll have the car longer....

it might even save a person life if they hear a loud noise a block away then they would move but if they dont here anything they could get killed to theres many benefits on having a loud car

but ofcourse, conversely...i can't sneak away without letting anybody know ofcourse.

right now i'm considering adding another muffler or resonator to my exhaust, but the way everything was spaced out initially, there isn't any room left on the mid-pipe to chop out a section of pipe and weld in another noise surpressent.

i'm currently looking into using some exhaust components from BMW. while taking my friend to buy a 1990 bmw 750 last friday, we were giving the car a total look over, and he pointed out how they have "banana" shaped mufflers on the exhaust, which were resonators that bend along with the path of the exhaust. so i'm going to see if i could fit something like that to my exhaust.

the first thing is seeing where they could befitted on the exhaust, and also, the biggest one avaliable is only 2.5 inches big, but he says they can easily be converted to a 3 inch diameter piping, but worry about creating a bottle neck of backpressure in my exhaust with them.
