Default Weird start up issue.

Hey all xA owners. I've had my xA for 10 years bought it brand new in 2005, but as of recently been running into an intermittent issue at start up. At start up the, when you give the car throttle, it wont rev past 2000 rpm and sometimes when you give it throttle it'll die out. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their cars. The other side of the equation is, it doesn't have a CEL on, and when you restart the car, it goes away. Wondering if there is fuel sensor issue, perhaps that fuel regulator is sticking.:?:?:?

I would start with replacing pcv valve ($ 8, spark plugs ($12) and cleaning maf sensor (dont bang or touch sensor with anything!) and throttle body with maf spray cleaner...check air filter too. did a lil mini tune up recently on my xa and these smoothed it out. got everything at autozone, even ngk platinum plugs...except for air filter as I run an afe washable dry drop in.

keep us updated!
