Sup everyone! Just wanted everyone to know that the 2006 tC are out!!! I went to Longo Toyota today to make a deposit for a 2006 Manual Black Sand Pearl tC and saw 4 2006 tCs right on the lot. There was a flint mica, azure pearl and 2 nautical blue. I went to look inside and saw that it is the 2006 because of the controls on the steering wheel and the ***** on the head unit for the volume. I even checked the sticker on the window and it does say 2006! So, for those people that come across dealerships that tells you that it's not going to come out till sept, oct, nov, or whatever BS they tell you then don't believe them because they are just trying to discourage you of buying a 2006 and just want you to purchase the left over 2005 they have on the lot. Trust me, you guys can order a 2006 already which I did! Kim which is the dealer that helped me out was very helpful and told me that it should arrive in approx 2-4 weeks and no later than 4 for sure. I ordered a completely stock tC and when it arrives that's when I'm going to add all the options I have in mind like TRD shocks & springs, Hotchkis front strut bar, iPod HU, TRD exhaust, TRD rear sway bar, TRD quickshifter, etc etc...By the way if anyone is wondering how the nautical blue tCs look in my opinion they are just dark blue or navy blue to me. Aight then...just thought I would share my experience of ordering my tC at Longo Toyota...I didn't expect to see a 2006 tC in person...not just 1 but 4 of them!

 

wow they have 4? i went to longo toyota 2 months ago to buy mine and they had NONE. and they told me the wait was 6-8 weeks.

 

Cool... congrats. I want to change my steering wheel to the 2006 one.

 

i picked up my 06 tC from Longo today. I saw 3 tC out in front (2 had "sold" stickers already). My tC was stored in the back lot, which means they may have more hidden away (probably pre-orders like mine). I waited 2 weeks for mine to arrive.

 

you should took pics of the nautical blue tC just to see how it looks like because i think most of us here dont know how the color looks like

 

Yeah...sorry didn't take pictures of the nautical blue cuz I wasn't expecting to see any 2006 tCs. tC_kevin - since you said that you asked them 2 months ago and gave you an approx time the 2006 tC will arrive within 6-8 weeks then they were correct. HKSpeed just picked up his tC yesterday which is about in the 6-8 weeks range considering that you asked them 2 months ago. I should have preordered mine a little earlier so I would have picked up my tC already like HKSpeed did...but hey congrats on the new ride!

 

Well... let's see... 2 months = ~ 8 weeks. Sooo... ya. That's about right.

Congrats on 06 tC. One thing I found when getting my tC last July and reading this forum is that NOBODY knows exactly when and how many a dealership might get in their allotment.
