Would be cool to make "mass profit", but that would be rather difficult considering Canada has strict regulations for their vehicles. For the longest time tC's couldn't be imported to Canada due to safety features that are required in Canada. Apparently the 07's can now be imported, but still have a lot of stuff to do to get it there...

You can't just do a money conversion from USD to CAD and say that's a rip off. Canadian money is worth more than our money, that's all there is to it, they aren't paying more for a tC than we are. That's just what you see when you convert their money to ours.

our money converts to more of theirs. however, thats why things cost a bit morein CAN dollars, to make up for it.

Unfortunately, you cannot just drive up here and sell your car. You have to go through the importing process in order for the buyer to able to title the car in Canada. It isn't rocket science to do it, but it is not free. There are a lot of costs involved in importing a Scion to Canada. For instance, you have to pay duty on it when you import it. That is why the going price for a Scion in Canada seems so much higher than it is in the US.

I will have to look into how much for a TC in BC, I purchased an xB from a local dealer here in Canada for the best price I could find in July 06 and paid $22500 + taxes, seems a lot more than the US price but after you work in the exchange, duties and taxes from importing the dealer only ends up with about $1000-$2000 profit as I looked into bring one up myself and it would have taken about three weeks to complete the sale and get it across the border and I bought from a dealer.

How much Canadain dollars are you selling the TC for in Ontario?

We are asking $25999 for our 2007 TCs with power moonroof, multi-function steering wheel, leather wrapped steering wheel/shift **** and alloy wheels. We can ship the car to Vancouver as well.
