Finally test drove a TC!- NE good sites to purchase partz!
Hey Fellas,
My wife bought me the TC, but I dont get back home until this coming Friday. Im pretty excited. Well, Im currently in GA, I went to a Toyota Dealership to test drive the TC. It was a SuperWhite with kit, spoiler, and borla muffler. Man was it sweet had 35 miles. I wasnt expecting much. I figured it wont be quick, but luckily the sales person said to drive it the way I wanted. So, I dogged the hell out of it. I feel sorry for the person whos going to get that tc. Well, right from the get go, I got a really good feel for it. I was at the light revving at 2 and half, popped the clutch, once light turned green, It grabbed within an instant. Hoping to reach fuel cut off and shifted a little past redline to second, tires chirped and pulled. I couldnt believe how it reminded me of the good ol days of racing. I havnt been in this scene in a long time. A little over six years. My wife finally let me choose the car I wanted. I am glad toyota came out with this type of car. Best bang for the buck. This Tc was smooth, had the sunroof open on the entire test drive. Hit railroad tracks and went over quite nicely, better than my ody. Im pretty happy with the quality of the ride. Pretty quiet, I hope it holds in the long run. I also hope my tc rides just like this one. Im only going for a little mods since it will only be my commuter to work. I want a body kit, springs, and either Trd or Borla Exhaust. Not sure which to choose from. I know the borla sounds great in person. Dont want to deal with fix it tickets in the long run. Cuz my old car, I recieved a bunch of fix it tickets, Now Im a family man, and dont want to deal with cops. I had a CRX with a B16 motor, cheap filter, 2 and a quarter repipe with thermal exhaust, slammed, it was so low, in order to do a U turn, I had to do a 3 point turn. My wife hated it, but I loved it. Now, I got the tc, and planning on keeping it in the long run. Well, sorry for the quick boredom but N E recommended websites to purchase parts, especially the borla exhaust. That muffler was a bit quiet during idle, but would pick up on the go, So, it would be perfect sound for my taste. Since my wifey hates the idea of purchasing one. Thanks for the Help fellas.
