Default Financing through Toyota - How soon to start paying?

Hey,

I bought a tC on August 12.

One of the finance forms mentions the date of 9/11/2005, but it is very vague if it means my first payment is due then, or it is mailed then for me to have back in a certain amount of time after 9/11.

For those who financed through Toyota, can you shed some light for me??

I was given 45 days from the date of purchase to make my first payment.

Wait til they send you the bill, cuz it'll have your account number and stuff on it.

I'm still waiting, but then I saw the 9/11/2005 date about payments.

Maybe that is when I'm billed?

And I'll have two weeks to get it back?

I live in Fairfax county down in Virginia, but ironically I bought my Scion up in Syracuse since they had a NB manny tranny on a lot whereas I would have had to wait like 4 weeks down here...

Have you thought about online bill pay. Saves you money on stamps

Register here (make sure you are logging into a site with HTTPS:
https://www.toyotafinancial.com/index.jsp

You can set up recurring payments or one time payments. I go with one time so if I wanted to pay early due to a long vacation, I can do so as long as it is posted 4-days before the due date. I prefer to post it 10-days before the due date or earlier, just to be safe. You can always change this option.

Also contains additional information like how much money you owe, financing info on your ride, next due date, etc. NOTE: The posted due date will be latest one sent to you via mail.

Yeah I got 45 days too, I think it was some college graduate thing. Don't forget to get the $400 discount if a college grad with a job and financing though Toyota!

While I didn't finance through Toyota, I used USAA to finance and was given up to 90 days before my first bill was/is due, a standard benefit to USAA members...I signed the papers on August 3, and my monthly payments start October 2.
