Alright. So heres the story:

In our dinky little country area, we have a cruise night/car show. Consisting of all american muscle and nearly zero imports. Last month I saw a little lonely scion, getting no attention. I'm pretty sure it was a new one the dealership brought over. So I decided that in 2 months at the last big cruise night of the year, I'm gonna give a last push to get some nice add-ons to my car and while I was at it, I was gonna put a stack of the scion cd samplers and magalogs in my trunk and toss them out because, personally, I love the magalogs and cds. Free stuff rocks. Well I sent Scion an e-mail asking if I could have some cds/magalogs to hand out. Although I was denied, they offered a free hat for my enthusiasm. I replied back that I would like a hat and I'll let you guys know if it ever comes in. But I suggest you all give it a try and see if you can get free hats! :D

 

I got a free one from the NY Auto Show this year... quite nice actually. Though I probably already have like 3 other Scion hats and a few visors...

 

Yeah, I've got a few from the chicago autoshow awhile back...but they dont know that. Plus out of curiousity, I asked for that flat billed one with the tC logo.

I hate flat billed hats...but I've got 2-3 mesh looking blue baseball hats.

 

I got one for my enthusiasm at the KC Show, the rest i have gotten off of eBay individually, or with scion things.

 

lol nice, may have to try it out, I got a huge moving box of hats I just collect, might as well add to the collection.

 

UPDATE!

Got my hat in today. Its white with black pinstripes with the scion logo...PLUS they sent me a cellphone sock and a t-shirt. The t-shirt is so gangster its white with a chain printed on it and hanging at the bottom is a scion emblem.

 

you should never buy anything from ebay.

those items are promotional items and whoever got them just made bank from you because they probably got a bunch of them for free.

all you really have to do is get out and go to the Scion events out there. they'll have plenty of free stuff most of the time.

 

i got have that hat! i got it when i was visiting the university of texas last month. it is now my favorite hat

 

My sales man bought my wife and I keychains and a hat.........I thought that was pretty cool.......he really knew his Scions too.....and was the one who directed me to this web site.

 

I came in here expecting a South Park reference of some sort.

 

wait wait... so divine suffering... you got a free hat (which seems ballin) and a shirt for just calling them and asking for their FREE stuff, and they denied you and sent you some gear for nothing? how do i go about doing this... ya know just to say that hey it really does work. loL!

 

lol i have 300 hats from scion vip. along with flip flops, suntan lotion, tons of t shirts, hand towels, frisbee's, u name it.

 

crap man, i want free stuff! i'm goin to my dealer tomorrow and i'll see what i can come up with. any pointers? lol

 

it could be possible to get some cd samplers if ur dealer has them. or pretty much anything that u can get for free at car shows.

 

well i went today and i got a few of those CD samplers. they handed me a handful but they said with anything else i would either have to buy or find them at a car show..
