fuse panel cover below switches..
sorry to nycazn79, i stole your pic from your install...but anyways...
does anyone know about the removal of the cover below the switches? do you just apply pressure to certain areas when removing or just yank it out? i've been kind of wary about pulling too hard for fear of breaking the tabs...

Mine did develop a slight rattle after being removed a few times. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this. It's got a handle on one side and that is the side that pulls out first, so I'm thinking pull hard and fast there. But it's pretty HARD. The panel itself is real thin so I guess the upside is if you snap something, hopefully it will be cheap to replace. That is one part where they cheaped out. I suppose most people only remove the fuse panel about once every five years, but tinkerers like us need to get in there!
