Yesterday I left my car unattended for a few hours and when I came back I found one giant long key scratch going the left of my car from the gas tank cover to around under the mirror...ON BOTH SIDES and half of the hood as well.

Yeah so im bringing it to the dealership tomorrow, any ideas on the cost of how much to get it fixed? And I might as well fix my little dents here and there and other key marks.

if you have insurance all you have to pay is your deductible.

i had the happen to me aswell on both sides a week apart before i could even fizx the 1st one, i paid 1 grand per side

I've said it a thousand times. You can not leave your car ANYWHERE that you can't SEE it and expect it to be safe these days. I drive my tC and my Mini only to places I can look out the window and see my car. I only eat at in restaraunts that will allow me to sit near a window facing my car. If I have to go anywhere that I can't do this.....THIS is the car I drive:



They (meaning every lowlife scum in the world) can key it, slash the tires, break the windows, steal the (cassette deck) radio LOL.

Hells Bells, they can HAVE it if they want it!!! I have way too much invested in my "good" cars to allow some punk to take it all away in the swipe of his key. And they will.....it's just a matter of time!

You have my sympathies and the use of one of my rifles if you need it!

happened to me once also..when i bought my brand new '00 Civic. drove to the beach and came back several hours later to find my entire car was keyed. i mean someone just ran around my whole car with something sharp and keyed a big circle around it. i was soooo mad i felt like killing someone right there. insurance paid for a paint job which i think cost almost $1800 with my $500 deductible. i hate haters.....
