Default Help me pick my brights

Since noone wants to help me out in the ice forums

Anyways, I ordered a set of luminics off of ebay and the company sent me two pairs of 9005 high-beams for the tC. They are both the UV but they are different. One has the silver tip and the other doesn't. The silver tip is 55W->130W while the all purple one is 65W->140. Which one should I be using, or does it not matter, just preference? I looked in the manual and it said 60W or close. Please post your opinions

you shoulda got your luminics straight from luminics to avoid getting random crap sent to you from ebayers, haha!

and typically, the high-beam 9005 does NOT have the silver tip and they should be rated at ~60W. if it has the silver tip, it's usually the low-beam 9006 bulb rated at ~50W. i would assume you should be using the one that says 65W w/o the silver tip for your high beams.

Yea, I got h4's for my mr2, and the lowbeam 9006 for my g/f's tC. I was just curious if the ones one ebay were the same, so I went ahead and ordered the brights on ebay just for the h_ll of it. I ended up getting two pairs of brights! Yea, I am using the 65W UV without the tip now. I'm probably just gonna sell other pair for cheap after school is over next week.
