to drive my 18s with summer KDW 2 in snow?




Snow will hit my area on wednesday and I won't have the time/means to take off the summer rims/tires until saturday.

drive carefull, and make sure to clean the rims really good to get the salt completely off of them!

 

Find another car to drive. Driving in the snow with summer/sport tires is next to impossible.

 

uhm...before you freak out claudia, it is only a 20 to 30 % chance of snow wednesday.

but yeah, if it does, aliantha won't be going anywhere. borrow your twin's rolla.

or you could just get a set of all season rubber.

 

I already got the winter tires mounted on the stockies.

 

I have another question.....will the tires be ok in this cold weather (with no snow but temperatures going down to 10F?)

 

C just make sure you clean the wheels afterwards, i couldnt image that those tires would be absolutly horrible in the snow... unless its a lot of snow then i would be worried.

take different means of tsansport C, I had my ultra high performance summer tires n light rims on when I had the frist snowfall, I couldnt hook for shizz. I was going down a huge hill to get to my house, and the box was everywhere, dropped it down and barley got over 10mph, just couldnt hook up, now I got my allseason stockies on

 

I don't know, but I think you should do okay if you just ride slow enough.
