how hard was it.....
to get financing on these cars?
I know some dealers are pretty leniant as far as credit goes. but I was just wondering if anyone with less than great credit (620 or below) had any problems financing the car? I want one, and as my truck gets older, I'm more and more actively looking at getting something new. So I figure with my credit being not so great, I may experience some issues trying to finance a tC. Everyone I know that could cosign for me is all tied up in other things, or has already cosigned on something else.

as long as you have enough income there shouldn't be any reason for you to not get financed, you'll just get a really high APR....unless of course your credit score is low because of black marks on your credit, then that could be a problem. but if it's low because of a short credit history you should be okay.

Its mostly low I guess because of short history, I mean there may be a black mark or two, I'm not sure, I refuse to pay money to know my credit score, so I only find out when I go and try and apply for financing.

Aslong as you've had credit at some point in time. even cable or cellphone bills. you should be ok depending if you made your payments on time. Also don't go applying for a crapload of new credit. any more then 12 times a year and it will start to effect your credit.

You're entitled to 1 free credit report a year.....go to experian.com or one of the other bureaus......you WON'T get your credit score for free (those are like $20) but don't sweat it....it won't be the same score the dealer gets because they run a different model.
It will, however, let you know if you have any black marks.
If you have no credit, there shouldn't be a problem as long as you have income and work history.
If you have bad credit, you may still be able to get approved with a strong cosigner.
Hope that helps.
