Yeah, it doesn't really grind it just is difficult to put into gear and makes quite a noise. But I don't really think it is a grinding noise. It's stupid...it should be if the clutch is all the way in, no grinding because we have syncronizers, end of story.

Do you guys get early morning grinds too in your gearbox? maybe the first 4 or 5 shifts when you leave for work or school. The gearbox feels likes its grinding going from gear to gear. Sends a chill up my spine every morning.

i have only got stuck between the gears twice in two months and that was my fault. shifting can't be blamed on the trans as it is a user error 99.99999999% of the time

if you ride your clutch it will go pretty fast. i had my first clutch in hs and had to replace it in a month because of that (of course it was a used vehicle as well)...riding your clutch is basically when you have your foot on the clutch and the gas at the same time. if you notice your rpms going a lil too high then you probably are. as far as grinding, just be careful. make sure you are in gear before letting go of the clutch. i have only done it once and thats cause i was rolling and trying to put it in reverse.

oh and i have been driving a manual for over 5 years.....
