I scrape sometimes. I'm dropped on Hotchkis, Sometimes I'll scrape on curbs when parking or sometimes on my driveway if I'm in a hurry and try into it really fast. Other then that, as long as ur careful you should be fine. In NY at least.

^^ Haha you and me both.

3 times, twice on this really steep driveway, that every one of my friends lowered cars scrapes on, and getting out of a parking garage in Milwaukee and found out my car is lower than the curb. It easy not to scrape if you go slow enough over bumps were you think your going to scrape, but watch out for the ones you don't think of.

Way to much. I drive extremely cautios tho. My car is daily driven, and with the bodykit, all attention is on the road or I am out alot of money.
I have no qualms with hitting the 4 ways and slowing down to a craw when they are doing construction work and have the HUGE bump from where the milled the street down.

Have any of you guys looked under your car to see the damage? I had a metal piece slightly bent , so I bent it back, and some scratches on the plastic covering.

k heres a question to all...if you where to get hit from behind wouldn't that be the other person fault? isnt it always the person who hit from behind who looses?

This was on a flowing 45mph piece of road, not a driveway or storm drain.
i would LOVE ! to drive in LA then in Phoenix . thanks to all the construction i got 2 flats in 1 month. And because phoenix is using all their resources to construct a metro which only like 7% of the population said they might use it daily, all the other roads suck @$$. especially rail road crossings. i looked under my car and my down pipe and my bumper is scraped up, and i'm stock

Yes, that is true...but honestly...since I sell Scions...I look at things this way...though I never will of course...an accident depreciates the value of the car...my car would have to be in the shop and me in a rental...which can be another tC for me...but I like my own...what if the other person didn't have insurance or just took off...and plain and simple...I'd kill em'...cause that's my baby...and i'd cry if it ever happened...just looking at a ding makes me curse like a sailor!

Yeah the person behind you would be deemed as "following too closely" but still, I'd rather scrape the car/lipkit than get rear ended-- depending on how fast you're going and how fast the person behind you is going, it might cause a LOT of damage to get rear ended instead
