Default How often should you get a wheel alignment done?

Assuming you are having no problems with the car pulling or drifting, how often are you all planning on getting your tC wheels aligned? Front end or four wheels? I usually have them done on my cars when I notice problems, so I'm not sure if it should be done as preventative measure or not. Thanks for any advice.

You only get your alignment done when you need it done. (i.e: when the car starts pulling in one direction, sign to get it done)

Periodically you could get it checked if you haven't had a problem with it after ___ time period, but its not priority.

I usually get the alignment done when the suspension has been taken apart i.e. spring/shock install. I have the alignment checked whenever I purchase new tires. If the alignment is within specs, you should only get charged for an alignment check as opposed to a full alignment job.

If you drive in bumbpy roads get it checked more often.

Here is a good way to to alignment. Go to Firestone, pay 150 bucks for their lifetime alignment, and then do it every 3 months. You never pay a dime more and you car will always have great alignment!!!

Thanks for all the advice. I never really paid much attention to alignments with my other cars, but I care about my tC much more than the other three Hondas I've owned combined, so I want to do everything I need to do to keep it like new.

And an extra thanks for the $150 lifetime alignment tip. I've never been to a Firestone location, so I had no idea that such a thing existed. Do you have to buy their tires to take advantage of that?

No need to buy tires there; just go for the alignment. My first car was a '77 VW Rabbit. Those guys at Firestone were getting sick of me as I changed the suspension set up 6 times in one year. But hey, you get what you pay for.
