So I've had my car for two days now. Been practicing for two days learning to drive a stick shift. Finally got enough confidence to drive it around the streets today. I'm psyched. Can't wait to get comfortable enough to drive it everywhere. Getting the hang of it slowly. Its stock so I won't bother you guys with pictures. Its the same as every other 2007 NBM on the road I only waited 11 days... not too bad.

Default Hey guys, tC noobie here!

Hello everyone, I am the total n00b here. I have just put down a deposit on an instock Blue Blitz Mica Sciot tC SE [special edition]. I don't want to be a total show off, but I thought I'd post the specs because the dealership said Scion fans like to see SEs.

2006 Blue Blitz Mica Scion tC SE
160 HP, V4 [I think it has a MacPherson strut bar]
18" rim wheel package
XM Satellite Radio
Side and Curtain Air bags
Pioneer Subwoofer
I'm also having them put in a few things
Fog lights
LED Illumination in Blue for the inside
Rear pedestal spoiler. Then there's also the standard features that the Scion offers. I should be getting the car on Wednesday. Do you guys know if there are any car shows around in Massachusetts that I can go to? I have never been at a car show before, and I think it would be fun. Another little stone to put a ripple in my life and make it more fun. Thanks in advance ^^

so tired. Must go to sleep...

wow looks like you got a ton of options, must have been pricey. Oh btw it's not a V4 V is for the v shape the 6 cyclinders make, the 4 cylinders dont make that V

Default yeeeee hawwww

Got my 07 Nautical Blue on Saturday with mud guards, auto-dimming mirror, rear bumper protector, all those extra airbags, floor mats, and wheel locks. Everything else will be aftermarket. I must say, after I heard that the tC used the Camry engine I wasn't expecting much as I'm coming from a 99 Camry, but DAMN this thing hauls in comparison to my Camry.

Pics for y'all. The first one is my tC parked next to my cousin's M3 - great taste in cars and colors run in the family. Thanks to Robert Larson's Toyota of Tacoma and fleet manager Chang Kim.

Glad to be a Scion owner! Now to figure out where the hell that squeak is coming from...

Oh, those options that I wrote down before the "I'm also having them put on" is the stuff the factory has already set up, since it's a special edition. I don't need side curtain air bags or the xm satelite radio, but the curtain airbags are a welcome addition and I'll deal with the radio for 3 months I can't wait for it to be ready for me. About the V thing...I didn't know. All I knew was that V meant cylinders, so I thought there's a V4, V6, and a V8...

A few things to check on. I just got My RS02 last week, and was given a small run around at the dealers.

The spoiler isn't available in Blitz Blue, so they will have to find a local body shop to paint it, and the fog lights don't fit on the custom grill either. They do a cruise here on the Cape every Sat night, mostly classic muscle cars, but a matching pair of tCs would be cool too.

Enjoy your ride, I'm loving mine!!

I just wanted to say hello and become part of the forum.

Im just a bit disappointed because I read on this site that the intakes that are currently on the market do not fit the 07 model. I guess Ill just have to wait.

Check Scion.com. I think they do have the TRD cold air intake for 07 model as well as more performance accessories compare to 06 model.

Hehe, I will. Actually, the dealership told me that and said that they don't know when the spoiler would be coming in, but I'm sure I can deal with it. In any case, yeah, that would be awesome to have two matching tCs to show off! So yours a release too? What's your number? Damn, I had a question but I forgot what it was...I'll post it up once I remember it.

UGH! I remember the question! I heard that Toyotas are one of the most stolen cars, so I asked the dealership to put in a LoJack system. Do you think that was a smart decision? I'm hoping I didn't waste my money for nothing.

If you live in an area where cars get jacked a lot, then no not a bad decision at all... plus your insurance should be cheaper

I think I saw in someone's post... I believe it was somewhere around $895 or so? Expensive but I guess its worth it if you live in those kinds of areas...

1.9 miles on the odometer! Although it'll probably be like 3 after they clean it up and stuff... but YEA!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my story

So, I am now a scion driver!! I ordered my Black Sand Pearl '06 Tc with the IPOD radio, pedstal spoiler, 18" rims and ground effects on May 1,2006. It was supposed to be delivered on May 15th but apparently they ran out of the IPOD radio and they didn't have the ground effects in my color so that had to be painted. It was finally delivered on the 24th, but I got a call from Sam (my great sale guy ;P) that when my car went through the car wash the passenger side mirror was knocked off, but he assured me that it would be fixed when I got there around 6. We got there and sure enough it wasn't fixed and there was a chip in the door. After complaining and getting my ___ kissed by Fort Myers Toyota, they put me in a Toyota 4-Runner (Which I fell in love with!!) I had that for a week then on May 31st I got the final call, my car was officially ready! Did I mention that someone at the factory messed up (but to my advantage ) and put the 18" RS 1.0 Graphite Rims on my car.....SCORE!I got the keys to my car and off I went! Then of course a day later I was leaving for two weeks to New York to visit family, while my georgous brand spankin new car sits in the driveway. Well, I am finally back and drivin my car! OH!! Did I mention it was a stick?? Yeah that's right I'm drivin a stick! I must say that I can handle that stick quite nicely LMAO!!
