Default New ride!

Hi guys!
Been lurking the forums for about a month now and decided to make my first post today. I just got a brand new 08 RS 4.0 TC. I just changed the wheels but besides that it's completely stock. After a few mods I'll take some pictures.

My previous car was a 02 Celica. I sure miss her (RIP) but a TC was a perfect spiritual replacement, but just doesn't handle like the way my Celica did. I love it though and can't wait to mod it. Suggestions are welcome!

Default New '08/9 this Saturday 7/5/08!!

Hey everyone, I'm excited to announce that I'll be buying a new '08 (or '09, I don't think my dealer has any yet) this Saturday! MT Flint Mica with the pedestal spoiler and upgraded stereo.

Monday I'll be adding the DIY clutch stop, I hated the clutch feel and was considering not getting a tC until I saw the post on how to fix it (thanks to that poster, I forget who it was!). Not too long after that I'll tint it 20% in the back and 35% in the front, get rid of my badges (god I wish i could afford the RS 4.0, that badgeless grille is SEXY), and possibly get an HID kit.

By Monday (possibly Saturday night, but I imagine it'll be hard to pry me out of that car for a few days, lol) I'll have pics up at mitchp.homedns.org/sciontc Admittedly the first batch will just be a boring stock tc (if you can call any tc boring), but i'll keep the site posted with the latest mods.

Love the site, and thanks in advance for all the help I'll probably need!

Hey everyone, just bought myself the '09 blue ribbon metallic tC. Only seven miles on it, I was the first to test drive it. Manual transmission with NO factory mods, no spoiler, no fog lights, no nothing. Planning on doing some paint work on the dash interior next week. My brother used to have a tC so I've got some parts layin' around the garage. Got a cracked spoiler that I'm hopin' to fix and paint this weekend. I'll post some pics up after I get some work done..

The spoiler actually is a factory style spoiler... It's got a crack in the middle and needs to be painted. But I figure I can deal with the factory spoiler for now since I'm broke from the down payment haha.

Yea Injen is my preference.. and I'm goin' with the S techs 'cause i'm goin to have stock wheels on for a while so it'll give me a lower aggressive look. the 2/2.4" drop will be perfect... the TRD 1.25/1.25 is great if you've got some big wheels on though.
