Anyone heard this noise before?? Its so ____ING annoying!!
It comes at 30mph and again after 75 or so..You can hear it if you have good speakers and even better with headphones.

I pray that someone has heard this noise. What is it? Wheel bearing? Tires?

Yes that stupid humming. "woo woooo wooo woo wooo" sound. So you're sure its the tires? Should i just change em?
I just wanna make sure its not a bearing or something..

 

sounds like your tire is scraping on something, i would check the fender liner maybe it's loose

 

Hmm, nope definitely not rubbing on my fender liner.. Ive taken it apart and back together.. it always sounded like this even with no fender liner.

So, up to this point.. i hope i get more feedback but im leaning towards the tires..

I have that in my car too. Probably something to do with alignment or balancing. I'm getting new wheels mounted soon so I hope that once I get everything done it'll go away.

 

Ahh and do you get the sound at exactly 30mph too?

Yes it's at certain speeds, I think 30 and 70ish, like you.

 

it may or may not be the bearing. if it is, it would correspond with the speed of the vehicle (i.e sound louder, or wine faster the faster you go and vise versa), you'd be able to wiggle your tire when the car's jacked up, and hear it more when you let off the gas/throttle...this is how u can find out if it is the bearing: and this:

 

^^THank you! I've tried this. and i think its coming from the back so i cant really use this method. My rear right side would wiggle and i changed the bearing there but the noise continues :/

Man, im honestly glad to hear im not alone on this. have you tried anything to fix it??

 

No, as I said I'm getting new wheels and tires put on soon so I'm hoping it goes away after balancing and alignment.

 

Slipped belt or alignment wear in one of your tires. Take your hand and run it along the tread on the tires, if it feels wavy you either have a slipped belt or alignment issues.

 

I'm not sure I ever had an alignment after lowering my car, lol.

 

Well i had alignment issues [camber, toe] and my tires reflect just that. But, i had an alignment.. guess i should have changed my tires too. Thats what im doing next
