I've had mine for a month now but no real compliments. Of course, everyone always says "nice car" cause it's new, like you would say that to anyone else who got a new car, but there hasn't been any "ooo's" and "ahhh's". I live in San Jose, CA so maybe that's the problem. Everyone either knows what a Scion is already (with correct pronunciation) or saw one already. So no biggy here.
hehe I got some more key compliments today
, and im excited b/c today was the first of driving without stalling :D (this is my first 5-spd and I have only had it for 3 days). I'm loving it more everyday.
im loving the car more and more. there are just enough tc's at my school to form a little klique.
Back on topic. I sold my 93 camry yesterday (it hasn't been driven in about 3 months) The guy checking out the camry was the brother of the potential buyer. Anyways, when we started the test drive for the Camry, for conversation's sake he asks if I was planning on getting a new car. I pointed to my tC across the parking lot. He nodded, and said he had seen several commercials for it but have yet to actually see on in person. While test driving the Camry, he asks me about the tC and if he can check it out when we're done test driving the Camry. Test drive over, he's happy with it, and we go check out the tC. He calls his sis(the actual buyer for the Camry) and first thing out of his mouth to his sis, "I want to buy a Scion!" Then goes into describing it a bit until he stops and says, ok back to your car.... I ended up selling the Camry, and who knows, there might be another possible tC owner.
