Actually, if i found a 93 camry v6 5spd in good condition when i was looking for a car, i brobably wouldn't have bought the tc. That car owns. It was detuned because it kicked the mk3 supra's ___.

 

I probably wouldn't have noticed the car if it were called a Camry, but more sensibly wouldn't they package it as the "Avenisis tC"? I'd have bought it in a heartbeat under that name, cause it may be on a camry-esque car, but the name Avenisis just sounds cooler. Not to mention, tC by itself seems kinda odd. It's the only Scion with a name that means something(touring coupe), and what it means just sounds like a trim level of another car. I think I'd like it better as an Avenisis touring coupe, than just a touring coupe with no name.

Yeah, I typoed.... several times, Avensis, not Avenisis.

 

I thought exactly the same thing a while ago. and i made a photoshop of it. This is actually the Toyota Aurion from Australia which is basically the Camry. I chopped it into a coupe, and yess.. i'd drive this! Would be great competition for the Accord Coupe and Altima Coupe.

 

now that looks sick.. if they had something like that.. I would have gotten that.. some times i feel the camry gets no love

 

For sure that does look sweet.

 

I love the Camry! Of course I'd buy it!
