FYI, I got a little less than 26 mpg on my last tank. I have around 600 miles on my manual tC so far, and I normally keep it under 3000-3500 rpms. 50/50 city/highway driving, A/C on most of the time. I'll be happy if it stays like this, as I knew going in that the tC wouldn't get the mileage of say a Corolla.
