Default Issue in 3rd gear

I have put somewhere around 600 or 700 miles on my tC.

I just noticed last week (it might have been there before though) that when I accelerate through 3rd gear, the shifter shakes.

No other gears cause the shifter to shake. And it only happens if I'm driving the car like a normal person during a break in period, if you accelerate hard or really slowly, it's not as noticeable. However, if you put your hand on the shifter you can definetely feel it, where you can't at all on the other gears.....If I accelerate just right, the shifter actually rattles loudly. I think it is just hitting it's resonant frequency, but it is still a concern of mine....I don't think this should be happening...

Has anybody else noticed this? For you tC owners/dealers, next time you drive it, keep your hand on the shifter through all gears and see if you feel the same thing please.

Sorry for the confusion regarding the sig. Those periods after the vehicle = will own it when it comes out. I just forgot to update the tC. And trust me, when I buy the vette I will let everyone know and I will post pics all over the place.....after all, it's gonna have to be my house too. I'm not exactly loaded here.

Just to clarify the last post...the C6 corvette will come standard with an engine that is different than the current Z06 (it's a 6.0 L vs a 5.7 in the Z06), but it will have very similar numbers in hp (400 for the base C6, 405 in the current Z06). This will come out next model year though. The Z06, will then follow approximately a half year later. This will utilize a modified version of the 6.0 L engine, however this one will produce 500 hp. There is also some rumors about a 650 hp version being made to compete with the enzo and carrera GT, but no one knows if GM will produce it. It's all rumors at this point.

And there are many significant changes with this new gen vette that are much better than the C5, though the C5 is a great car.

Sorry this should all be on one of the vette forums, but when someone starts talking about one of the best cars ever (and one of my favorites), I have to get involved.....
