uhm, not as much as what people think. just the usual roll fenders up front and completely remove all splash guards. rears are rolled and pulled with a baseball bat. loads of camber. and choosing the right size tire. basically thats it. but that doesnt mean everything is gonna run the way you expect it. with these cars being set so low, you're bound to run into problems while driving. you'll still be scraping anywhere and everywhere, buckle fenders if they're not rolled enough, and all that jazz.

@hector, yeah i installed it. ill post pics later. looks retarded cuz i didnt have money to buy new bulbs yet. so im rocking 6k HIDs on my low beams, 7k on my driverside fog and 3k on the passengerside fog. hahahhaha

and also, who follows my thread that wants an RS1 lip. im gonna try and find out how much it'll come out to ship. they raised the price from 70 to 80. but thats still super cheap. im not exactly sure how much shipping will be but if Blk07tc up there is correct about the $30 for shipping, then $110 should be pretty good. butttt, if i do end up doing this, it would be cool if you guys could throw in a little gas cash since the shop is like 30 miles away from my house. HIT ME UUUUP

so the homie hector over here hooked it up with a passenger foglight. only thing is the bulb that came in it is 3000k and my original ones were 7000k. hahah, so it kinda looks funky. but i ordered 6000k HIDs the other day from HIDextra to match my low beams. it'll look dope with matching all colors. hehe

so now for some updates on a couple things. so i picked up some adapters from Tin. i ordered a pair of 20mm 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapter. im lazy to explain why so ask me later. so i made a drive out to rowland heights to pick em up, got home and got lazy to put em on till a few days later. actually, i was even lazy to look at the spacers. hahaha. stupid on my part. anyways, i installed them the other day and there was ZERO clearance. couldnt figure out why cuz i thought i measured correctly.

and my bro being weird

i drove for about 20 feet and it was rubbing like no other. i didnt wanna pull my fenders anymore so i removed the spacers. took it inside the house and measured them, it read 25mm. -________- thats why. hahaha.

anyways, since im such a cool student majoring in industrial technology, i spend most of my days in machine shops during class. im taking a metal-working class where we work on the mill and lathe. so i decided to bring the spacers to class and slim them down. so i did what i do best, and took pictures of every little thing so the rest of ScionLife can see what an awesome dude i am. tehe

so i was gonna use the mill, but it wouldnt hold it evenly and i didnt wanna take that chance of making it uneven. here it is on the mill.

so i decided to use the lathe. so first, i used this press thingy and removed the studs.

see how the micrometer reads 25mm, where it SHOULD have been 20 in the first place.

and there you have it. shaved off 5mm and saved a bajillion dollars.

i just repeat for the other one and replace the studs using that press thingy again. ill install them later this week when i dont have work or school.

funny how i can see my rear wheels while driving

then i added the 2nd pair of camber bolts to the front. pretty much maxxed out to -4 degrees.

and i also transfered my 8mm spacers to the front also

so as of right now, offset is +12 fronts and 0 rears.

nooooowwwwwww, here come the problems. so i installed those yesterday morning. drove around for a bit, then went to work. for you guys that dont know, im a delivery driver so i drive around a lot for work. during the middle of my shift, i start hearing a wooshing sounds. i just figured my front wheels were rubbing on where the bumper meets the front fender so i was just gonna remove the8mm and trade them for 5mm. so i ignored the sound. when i got home a few hours later, i saw this.

Fffuuuckkkk. I just checked right now. 3 broken studs.
F

I'm driving my dads car for work. Then stopping by autozone later to pick up some new studs. I was gonna head to that 626 drift meet tonight after work, but I guess that's not happening anymore.
