only things i can think of are..

- tires underinflated.. check the pressures?
- check the wheel alignment to see what the rear suspension is doing, if out excessively it would cause an oversteer situation.. (fishtail)
- have the rear suspension bushings checked for excessive play

did the car try and "steer itself" when this happened? or did the back end just do its own thing and try to come out? is your steering wheel straight when driving straight ahead?

I agree, i have the pzero's as well.. and no difference between dry and wet traction, they are great tires as well as feel good in the steering wheel too..

noob? hey i don't want to argue with you, but couple things hit me when you come up and judge this "noob" like this..

- i can hit a pothole and it doesn't cause my car to fishtail.. from what I read he didn't hit a pothole.. he only took off from a light..

- so what happens when he is a "noob" and you dismiss them? then they lose control of their car maybe because the alignment wasn't right and the self-adjusting toe control on the rear suspension over corrects and causes this person to lose control? then what? the person is still to blame and they could've listened to some decent advice on this forum and have some knowledge of what MAY be causing something like they are describing.. and have it checked out...

- how about when the dealer finds something not adjusted correctly or defective, guess that noob knew something was wrong..

I agree that there are some crazy first-timer questions but come on.. everyone has to start their car education somewhere.. and to say that this person is stupid is a bit much..

I too have the Pirelli PZero Neros and noticed MUCH better traction than stock tires. Less peel out from a stop, great traction in wet conditions, and awesome cornering! Highly recommend. If you do get your ride checked out, let us know what's up. Good Luck!

What the? I just got home from doing (mistakenly) 65mph+ on a banked 90 degree highway on ramp and I didnt even squeel or loose traction at all. My setup is making me fear no turns at any speed and I think thats bad.

(trd struts, springs, sway set to race, hotchkis strut bar, enkei 18s and Pzero Nero M&S)

But in all seriousness, it sure as hell scared the crap out of me.

I guess today isn't my lucky day. I had a server blow up on me earlier and now this. I have to go back to work at 4. Hope I can make it there in one piece.
maybe there are some sand and pebbles

I'm guessing that one of your wheels lost grip on a rough patch on the road. That has happened to me before when I try to make turns on street corners with sand, gravel, or just bad pavement. I let off the gas once I hear that sliding sound and the wheels grip. If you keep on the gas, it will oversteer. If it oversteers and you're not ready for it, you will try to overcorrect as a reaction. That's probably what happened after you almost fishtailed. This is my experience based on 28,000+ miles with my tC, but it may not be the same thing that happened to you. Get it check out if you feel something is wrong mechanically.
