I've been seeing some interesting lists myself...
For example.. the fog light kit sells for $270 if I go pick it up at the toyota parts counter at my dealer. However, installed it costs $350. I've seen this EXACT pricing scheme across a number of dealerships on the web, all doing the same prices like it's right out of a dealer book.

You should be getting all of your options at the same price (or below in some cases) as what they say on the Scion website. I didn't get any labor charges. It's BS. Stick with it and get the tC though!
When I installed my exhaust the cost on website said like $525, when the I bought it from the dealer it was $425, and once I recieved the car I had a $100 labor fee. So put them together = $525.
Same with my ground effects and accent lights, it was cheaper than the website but once i got the labor fee it was the same price.

yeah just go to another dealer. MOST of the parts cost the same at the dealer or at the port. HOWEVER...its up to each dealer to charge what they want. The prices are not fixed across the board. We have recommended prices, that almost every dealer follows, but some want to make some extra cash. Just shop around. Go to scion.com and enter your zip and see what dealers are around. Then go to their websites and see what the prices are.

Here's the way it's supposed to work. If it doesn't work this way Scion steps in and hurts the dealership's allocation.
All accessories offered at the time of purchase must be priced on the dealership's website both uninstalled and installed. Now, the dealership can price this stuff however they want (no manufacturer can tell any vendor where to price their merchandise, that's price fixing and it's illegal), but they have to sell it for what's posted. All of these prices must also be on a menu on the showroom floor.
So, save yourself some drive time and just check out the websites. If a dealership isn't pricing their stuff as advertised then give a call to Scion customer service. That dealership will get a "visit" from their regional rep and it won't be a pleasent thing.
Sorry you've been so turned off. I'm constantly setting people at our dealership straight on where we should price things (fortunately, as the parts guy, I have a lot of control over this), but we're getting better as time goes on and people get used to the pricing as advertised thing.
If you have further questions or anything, I'll do my best.

Jason, I too had to go through a few dealers before I found the right one. Hang in there, and no matter what you buy don't settle! I am incredibly happy with my tC and if thats what you want make sure you get it how you want it.
And just like you wouldn't tip a rude waitress, don't buy your car from some jackhole that's not treating you honestly and respecting your time.
You're the consumer, they work for you!

grizzly is correct. pure pricing does not mean everyone has the same price, that's price fixing and again that IS illegal. we are allowed to pick our own prices but once we do they ALL get sold for that price. most of us go by the recommended Scion prices, but some are trying to make some extra cheese and on the opposite end some are undercutting the rest of us.
Thanks guys,
i was really unsure on what to do, so i took it into my own hands, called scion and got a phone call the next day from the dealer, my order is now in, and i should have the car in few weeks....
i looked at the RSX, and again the insid eof it was crappy,
had a glass of wine, the same night with some buddys from work, stopped atthe dealership after it was closed, and just said to myself, " This car is sooooooo me"
They even had one FM with body kit, and small spolier....so i died, after seeing what i wanted, i knew i had to have this car, some tint's, and it would be my dream car
The stick is gonna be another thing, (cant drive it)
but im excited
