Leaving the tC community... only physically!!!!
Hey guys!! Well it's been about a good two or three years that I've been floating around the forums, getting ideas and talkin to ppl... But now it's time for me to move on!!
I got my tC back in summer of '05 and started ricing out the car, BAD... after a while, I got a Dezod turbo kit and that didn't work out because stupid Pro Street Motorsports jacked it ALL up by not tuning it correctly and taking FOREVER to install the kit... and ripping me off and lying about so many things... after that, I gave up on the tC...
I use to argue a lot that FWD was no different from RWD and that a tC, built-up, can OWN cars that cost two to three times it's base price... and of course, a tC that is built-up, CAN and has been done b4... but the amount of money it was gonna take, and the limitations of FWD, wasn't gonna help. I got tired of the drag racing scene and 1/4 and 0-60 times just doesn't impress me anymore...
After having my Dad take off the turbo kit from the tC and selling it, I got myself a 1988 Toyota MR2 S/C. After driving that for a while, I started looking to getting my dream car, the 2008 EVO X... After much research and FINALLY getting done with US Army Recruiting school, I got it...
The EVO X is the most amazing car ever, and quite possible, the best bang for the buck. After getting this car and driving the MR2 every now and then, I could never go back to the tC. FWD just isn't my thing anymore...
Not to bash on tC owners or anything, but I'm done with the Scion scene (not in a bad way of course) and it's time for me to move on! I'll be back every now and then to say hi and to see what ppl r up to with their tCs, but I'll be concentrating on my EVO X (with a tune and drop in high flow air filter, I already have about 291whp and 295wtq)
So to everyone that I use to talk to on here and those who have helped me, thank you big time! And to those who have tCs and are thinking about moving on in the future and are still N/A, DON'T bother with Turbos or S/Cs, just leave the car the way it is and save ur money and get a different car in the future!!!

trust me, you DO NOT want to live in Hawaii. It's paradise for like a week, after that, you just want to go home...

Yes a tC can be made much faster than stock. But you will never change the fact that its not a sports car, unless you spend another 20-30k on completetly rebuilding it lol. Nice cars man. Congrats. I love those old toyotas. I wanna get an old AE86....i love them. Anyway good luck man, props for some nice whips

Grats on the new Evo. Don't forget your MR2 SC. After I finish the Alltrac one of my MR2s will be getting a nice 350-400hp engine swap with leftover parts from the Alltrac... I don't think I want to go any higher than that for I will surely kill myself...
