next time turn off the flash and bring a tripod

 

looks nice. Find a nice well lit area, bring a tripod, set the timer about 2 seconds and step back!

Night pics can be really cool. Like the others said, use a tripod, no flash - and then leave the shutter open a bit longer. If you can't adjust shutter speed or have a tripod, set it on night setting and set the camera on a stable object. And park under one of the streetlights in the parking lots and leave your lights on. I like the first pic a lot - I would park under the structure in the background and take more pictures.
I'm just trying to say - don't be discouraged from taking night pictures!
