Default lip spoiler problem

I recently put on a lip spoiler, I went with the double sided tape installation. anyways When I installed it I guess I was a little off and now both ends of the spoiler are kind of sticking up, no matter how hard or how long I press down it wont stay down, I dont know if I should take it off because it would be impossible, its stuck down really tight...any suggestions?

if you want to take it off get some dental floss or fishing line and run it under it to cut the tape

i had a bad experience with one of those ebay double sided lip spoilers, it came with bubbles and blemishes, did not even bother installing, i immediately retuned it and got the factory scion lip spoiler (bolt on) from ebay, but an ebay scion dealership...it came oem perfect, and at a good price too

Ya you probably got a crappy spoiler. I dont think it was an issue with the installation. I mean you got it on ebay.

Most of the time i will agree with you, but eBay does have the same stuff the other guys do, but at cheaper prices. Of course WeSellCarParts has them as cheap too. But you do find that interesting non-rice thing once in a while on eBay.

EXACTLY!!!!

It's just like browsing the internet, you have to know that WIN $1,000,000 is fake, its just common sense, its pretty easy to see through the fake stuff on eBay. Though some of the real stuff does say JDM, its just because the lister doesn't know any better.

I would still rather play it safe in this case and let that part go. But ya Ebay isnt rice. Alot of rice does come from ebay though. You gotta understand that ebay is really just a marketplace and nothing more. People putting up crap to sell. Some people just choose to sell worse quality crap than others. Some are legit vendors, and others just wanna get some things off their hands quickly. All sorts of people sell there so you just gotta know some keywords to look out for. Look at the feedback, presentation of the auction page, check to see if there are errors on the page or blatantly false information.

take a blowdrier, heat up one part at a time and start removing it, when you get it off, use a little bit of goo gone to remove the remaining tape and then clean with some turtle wax =D
