It fools the ECU in to thinking that the air is cooler than it actually is. Gas is added. The theory is that by adding more gas you get a bigger explosion. The truth is you just run rich and have a constant threat of detonation. After intalling the chip, dont be surprised if you shoot a fireball out of your intake.

Your car could run like crap, like at idle.

Idle probably would be higher, and its just not good for your engine.

like honestly and this is no bullcrap, if this was for real like you all said $5 = 20hp, then that guy would be a millionaire times 10, i mean come on, how dumb can this guy be? it would be nice if follow up feedback would have been left, so that way we could really see if it did at all that or not....hahahaahahahaha i still laugh at that

There is not the least bit of intelligent thought in that product!! It will make you run rich... thats it. Some people dont understand that more fuel does not necessarilly mean a bigger explosion. That is why we have to have a proper Air/Fuel ratio! But, as some people mentioned, there are plenty of people that are buying them I am sure. Poor poor people

There's a couple things you guys are blowing WAY out of proportion.

1) The guy never claims to make +20% HP. He says that he guarantees the chip'll make your car go faster. Not that hard a claim to make, seeing how if he increases your car by +.1% HP he's already offset the weight of the chip, and therefore made your car go faster.

2) He also claims that it could increase your horsepower UP TO +20% (Not that it WILL increase your horsepower by 20% but it could.) Not a hard claim to make either, depending on where you're measuring horsepower. We all know we have somewhere along the lines of 130 at the wheels, and 160 at the crank. So by measuring HP at the wheels before install, and HP at the crank after install he can manipulate the HP and simply attribute the difference in HP to the chip. Do the math if you want. (30/160) *100 = 18.75%

For those of you that don't understand the above calculation. 30 is the HP difference between the crank and the wheels. Divide that by 160, and multiply by 100 to find the difference in percentage.

____ y'all take some marketing classes.

And as far as the mod goes, it's crap it doesn't accomplish anything. Just makes your car go marginally faster, not really worth the cash. You'd notice more of a performance difference between driving with a full gas tank and an empty one IMO.

You know what that is.. .. All it is is a resistor. So basically your car THINKS it is not getting enough of whatever the resistor is resisting, and your car makes up for it by using more gas, a lot more, and possibly a LITTLE bit of horsepower will result. This cannot be healthy for you vehicle
