May be sellin my TC already for my fream car...
my friend is getting his manual transmission checked out because he has some not-so-minor problems with it... he told me that Nissan is putting out a TSB for it.
I drove his car... it's very nice if you like the extreme sports car feel... that car can corner like it's on rails... of course your teeth will chatter themselves to nubs because the ride is so rough... plus the interior is LOUD because there's NO sound deadening material to save weight... he put on two layers of dynamat and it's STILL loud as hell... plus the only two seats hurt whatever practicality is left in that car.
if i had money to burn and I wanted to get the 350z, i'd get it. however, you don't have money to burn, you just have money. personally, although college isn't for everyone, it is for most people. nevermind the education part, i think it contributes to maturity as well...(although we can leave that one for the jury). the sales manager at my former company didn't go to college but he's the best sales guy we've ever had... on the other hand, he doesn't get all that much respect because although he takes care of our clients, many of them think of him as another used car salesman. does he get the job done? yes. is that what counts? mostly yes. but still, i think he could've been much more polished if he rounded out his education a bit more.
my 2 cents

VexTC, if you haven't tried college you owe it to yourself to at least enroll for a term or two. Even a local community college can be fun. I hated high school and once I graduated I relished my freedom. My interests were motorcycles, cars, and the beach. I never thought I would have enjoyed college but my first year was so much fun I completely gave up interest in cars, sold them, used the money for college and rode a bike for the next five years. My point is that it's not just about money. Who cares whether you earn more? The real enrichment is the people you will meet and the things you will learn.

Trading an education for a car? That car is like a hooker. It's only fun when you're riding it. Then when she's old and broken down you don't wanna touch her any more. Get an education, make money and then buy all the hookers you want! Understand?

...it puts out 220 at the wheels stock! 65hp lost in the drivetrain. I've seen the car in a few wreck's and oh man it gets wrecked easy.
Besides i think their kinda ugly.
Also their tuning capabilites lie only with forced induction and then your paying like 8G for a twin turbo kit to give you an extra 100whp.. which is kidna low if you ask me.
G35 looks better... And a 350Z as a dream car :?: Put that $15K to good use. A C/D account or even placing the money in a savings account with a minimum of 2.5% interest is best. Over time you will accumilate interest (also pay taxes on it
, but not by much).
Here's my "Eleanor":
Lotus Esprit V8, but in British Racing Green not red. And I know it is discontinued

OK, I'll stop trying to be your dad now.
Wow--this car, which I have yet to receive, is the first car I have ever bought, and I am way older than, well, the target demographic. I was driving a car I drove in high school, which was--um--when Poison was hot. I, however, live in a city where you don't really need a car, so it's not all that strange. But I must say, after waiting all these years for my first new car--it feels damned good. It feels even better not to be getting a nice practical family sedan, and something that totally appeals to the side of me that isn't 100% practical. But college, well--that's an experience I never would have wanted to miss (law school I could have done without, but whatever). College isn't for everyone. $15,000 isn't a ton of money. But if you already have a perfectly good, and rather cool car, there are a ton of things you can do with $15,000 that can either turn it into more money, or at least leave you with something of lasting value.
