was looking at a new X3 BMW...

untill i saw that new Cx-7 mazda suv..

nahh its an suv, like not8 sporty i know its a turbo, but like i dunno its up to you

 

i like it alot! it looks a hell of alot better than the upcoming ford edge that shares its platform (plus ford cheated us out of a turbo on the edge). the back end is a little bubbly, but its grown on me. the interior looks like mazda lifted it out of a nissan murano. i think mazda should have done the wrap around theme that subaru did with the tribeca. but great car overall... and reasonably cheap. dont forget the sunroof jasonbegin! lol

 

not my style, with 28k go with a WRX!

no fence but going from toyota to mazda i dono, the suv is hot but i would think about the reliability of mazda, other then that its a very hot SUV.

 

When it comes to SUV's I like ones that can actually handle off road use.. which limits it. Cant stand the reliability of anything chrysler, so up until now the 4Runner has been my favorite, which is why I have one I can actually beat on it pretty hard when I want without worrying about tearing it up. The mazda is an oversized car, towing capacity of a measly 2000 lbs (Compared to the 5000 of the 4Runner) and wont handle much off pavement abuse.

But, if you dont care about that stuff then it is nice I guess I just like something a little more rugged :D

 

i dont need to tow anything, and the worse roads it will see will be The west side hwy in NYC, lol

 

The new rav4 sport with the V6 will rape a new CX7. The Rav4 does 0-60 in about 6.4 and the mazda in 8 seconds and you still have the toyota resale value and quality and that is just my opinion.

 

But have you seen the new cx-7? im falling in love over the body..

and who buys a SUV and cares about 0-6?

if i cared about 0-6 and speed, id be getting a G35, or 350z

 

wrx wagon or mazdaspeed3.....or even a acura rdx

if you do get a cx-7 find out when and where it came into port. About 5,000 CX-7 RX-8s and mazda3s were sitting on there sides for 3 weeks after the boat carrying them tipped while changing out the balist water. The coast guard says there pretty much ok but from some pics ive seen theres sum pretty banged up cx-7s. i found this out through the car tv news podcasts if you wanna look up the damage.

I really like the cx-7 i like the lines and all every time i see 1 i have 2 do a double take because it just looks really good.

 

CX-7 handles much better than a RAV 4.

Get a Mazdaspeed 6 - same engine, AWD, slightly less cargo capacity with none of the posuer SUV looks.
