might trade the tc in for a new CX-7
those cx-7's are pretty sweet. I was thinking about trading in the Mazda3 for one......Then I saw it next to a Durango and changed my mind. It is tiny!!LOL I'm leaning towards a LR3 now.

The only problem for me is it is the size of the Mazda3
I have read several articles on it, this thing sounds awesome, they say it has better performace than the SRT4 and is surely gonna kill everyone in its price range and class, im just a lil iffy on the looks. It would need a bit of aftermarket body mods but would be so sweet to have those insane numbers in a car only 22k.

But, he is obviously not looking at it for those reasons, so it is a moot point. For me though.. the FJ Cruiser is still looking very nice :D

I think that all of the loyal Tc owners are going to be laughing themselves to the bank in the faces of all of people who went performance crazy. Think of your overall cost of ownership comparing a vehicle that is pretty loaded at 17k vs. 28k, ect. I test drove the Civic Si and I can say that its a bad ___ car, but I called my insurance guy and he quoted me high and you have to pay for the 91 octane gas which would have been in the ballpark of an extra 100+ per month, not to mention the higher retail.
I also test drove a slightly used WRX, which I think is one of the most amazing cars on the road, but once again you have to fork over a lot more money. Youre looking at over $1500 extra per year aside from the retail.
I think the CX7 is sweet, dont get me wrong, but gas is not getting cheaper (although its dropped some here in Ok), think back 2 years to when it was like 1.65. Think of where its gonna be in 2 years.
If you can afford the extra money, go for it. The Scion lineup is not really a performance car out of the box, even with the SC, its still somewhat of a good looking economy car. But with performance comes a higher price tag. I sold a V-8 trans AM 5 speed to get my Tc and I do miss the performance sometimes, but I dont mind not having to hit the gas station up every other trip.
The choice is yours, but I urge you to think down the road just a little for your own good, because the market changes and what may seem like a good idea today may have you in a bind down the road.
PS. The CX7 is the sharpest SUV on the road right now.

I have something against VWs, however, I do think the R32 is hot--but I still wouldn't by it.
