LOL, sorry but your wrong. IF you type in Toyota.com , GM is not listed on their website, where as FORD.com on the other hand lists Mazda on their main page.

Toyota has worked with in such aspects as the Vibe/matrix and Corolla/Prism, but in both these cases they were developed by Toyota and sold to GM for reproduction. Madza on the other hand is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (one of 8 diffrent brands listed on there site).

LOL NO WAY you think that turbo is even a decent turbo? No way man the turbo is prolly just electronic or some cheap way of adding maybe 30 hp. Many cars come factory turbod but their below standard turbo. like stage .2 The only factory tubro i know of that is good is the STR4, EVO, and STI

if you read the quote said cahoots...did not actually say to what extant..all I am saying is they do business with GM and are kinda in bed with them also....and yes I know Ford owns part of Mazda..actaually if you like at all the Japanese auto companies the domestic auto companies own a share of just about all of them

GM owns no part of Toyota. Toyota just bought part of Subaru, which GM partly owned...

For the cost of one, you can load the tc on performance mods and some change. Or you could get a better car for 28k. I've seen the CX-7 and I think it's a waste of a turbo. If you were not looking for speed which you wouldn't in a SUV then why waste that money on a turbo. They could done without it and the cost of the car would be cheaper

I agree! Someone said it only goes 0-60 in 8 seconds... and it's turboed??? That seems pretty slow to me. I know SUVS aren't for racing but that's just too slow. For the turbo and the price, there are better options out there.

I'm pretty sure its the 2.3 from the 3 and 6...it adds 87 horsepower, I'm pretty sure it's fine.

I like the CX-7, if you like it, go for it

Again... only if you want a cool looking minivan

The beamer would last 10 seconds off road. But,. that is not what people wanting a bmw or most suv;s want. They want a cool looking minivan :D Which is fine. The bmw is by far the coolest looking suv out there. If you want street and some dirt road performance that is it as far as I am concerned. If you want off road AND reliability, get a rover or a toyota hands down. If you want off road.. and can handle poor reliablity.. get a jeep.. or better yet do what most people I know do.. get a jeep and drop a chevy drivetrain in it :D

For street use I would get the Rav4 or the beamer if you want to spend a ridiculous penny on the bmw name. Or a tahoe if you can find a good one for a decent price.

Just so everyone knows.. I have nothing against any reason to buy an suv.. or any vehicle for that matter. Hell, you can buy a previa and put a coffee table wing on it if that is what you like (although I may laugh at it to myself :D). Just giving my personal preference. But seriously, I would wait to see how the mazda does before buying one. I have heard a lot of hit and miss stories about mazda, including the stuff that comes through my fathers shop and other shops I know.

Yeah those are FX wheels. And the Mazda emblem is huge. I don't know why they made it so big.
