Default was in an minor accident - should i worry about unseen dmg?

I was in a minor accident with my tc. Was hit sideways acrosss the front bumper. Peeled the bumper off, bent the hood latch (coundn't open it)

The car seemed to drive fine, nothing leaking. Attended to drive to work later and only got a few blocks before it stalled out.

It started back up, but the check engine light was on and it was not running right.

It went in the shop and turned out the prob with the engine was the throttle body was bad.

The car in out of the shop now, and seems fine. but people keep telling me it will never be the same, it will have all kinds of problems.

One guy said my motor mounts are probably bad since the hit was bad enough to move the engine enough to mess up the throttle body.

I don't know what to think.

I have never had a car in an accident before.

should I worry?
could my motor mounts be bad?

If you were hit, why isn't the other driver's insurance paying for it to be fixed?

The fact another driver hit you, there insurance should assume liability. Also just because they say it is fixed, take it to another shop and explain hat happened and see if they suggest any needed repairs. If so, contact the insurance adjuster and explain, and say you are going to get the repairs and forward a bill to them, they should pay without arguing.

The key is, don't wait to long. and talk as thought you know what your talking about.

I was turning left

so was my fault

I like the idea of taking it to another shop, I wonder how much that would cost?

is 2 weeks too long to wait?
