oh, and just so you know, there are 2 clips holding the plastic cowling down when you install your strut bar. i forgot about one of them and ripped the cowling up... the second clip went flying and i had to go buy another at the dealer b/c i lost it
Ya i had my strut installed at the dealer(dont worry i wasnt overpriced it was a good deal) and the forgot to put back the clip for my cowl. They are replacing in free of charge, since they couldnt find it when i went back the next day asking for it lol.

How much tint is that? I'm still trying to decide between 5% and 15%.

yea the emblems are pretty sweet

and I like how the dealer didn't drill holes into your bumper but now it looks like you tC is buck-tooth.

MonkeyBoi, you're killing me here dude. I thought i finally got over my yearning for slightly tinted tails, but now that i've seen yours, i want to get my overlays installed again. My problem- there's NOWHERE local that will install them, and i failed miserably when i tried.

Thanks you guys, oh and gjpjr84, the dealer did have the plate already in the bumper but I thought a little about it and got something very simple to plug up the holes and relocate the license plate. All made possible by home depot and 10 bucks. I’ll make a new post about it later.

Magnus213, the emblems were a pain to do, since I didn’t know the correct way to spray paint until a few failed attempts… and my neighbor’s dog kept on peeing on it when I let it dry in my backyard! Arrrg!

Neothin, I can say the same about the overlays too, I spent an hour biting on to a blowdryer, trying to smooth it and get the creases out and everything. I thought the overlay was done for sure, since I stretched it out of proportions, but like everything else, I kept at it until I got the technique down. I have to say though, I wish bluebatmobile had cut the overlays a bit more larger. Since I had to stretch it a bit until it covered everything. My thumb still pains…

that's 20% all around. it's nice and dark, and it's not so dark as to not be able to see inside.

Well, I checked the air in my tires today. Inside of the door recommends 32 front and 29 rear, I was running something like 20 in the front. Moral of the story: check my tire pressure more than once every 11 months. to myself for that. Oh well, at least if I caused excess wear on the Bridgestones I'm that much closer to getting tires that don't suck ****.

lol, i had my tire pressure sensor go off today going to a friends house. It made me remember that I took the pressure down to 25 psi at the track on saturday. i was going to fill them back up to spec before i left, but my friends air compressor kind of started to smoke when it was turned on.

Time to hit up the QT and get some air! Wait... your sensor was going off at 25 PSI? What in the dickens is mine doing? Sleeping?

It's not a pressure sensor.. it just senses wheel revolution speed... Mine went off on me after I rotated my tires.... turns out one of my rears was at 37PSI... weird.. I have different tires.. I run them 35 front, 32 rear... otherwise they look flat.

Just set the tire pressure right then hit the tpm button in the glove box... it'll retrain itself.

Neothin - Didn't you see my tails? They're smoked as well..

one thing I suggest.

if possible color match the strut bar, it looks so much nicer in there that way IMO.

see... I was gonna paint the engine cover and the fuse box lid to match and leave the strut bar as is. i thought about powder coating the bar to match like you did, but just visualizing the engine cover and the bar blue would be too much blue IMO.

yea i had this whole fancy thing that i was going to do with the engine cover colormatching as well but i opted out of that for the same reason and cause the DC strut bar would have covered up where most of my detail would have been.

and i have the big blue power wire for my amps and im gonna put blue lighting in there to make it more visible so when i am done i thought that adding the other blue parts would be too much blue.
so yea i see what your saying, its cool

what kind of lighting are you doing in the engine bay? some cathodes?

where are you going to mount them and how are you going to waterproof them and the transformers?

just curious because that's something i would like to do also.
