Today during the break between my two classes, I went out to my car to take a nap. I reclined the driver's seat all the way back. When I got up, the seat back will not lock into a position. The bottom part will lock in place, but the back absolutely will not click back so if I put any weight on the seat back, it reclines. Also, the side lever used to recline is stuck. I tried messing with it and nothing seems to work. This is a problem that I need fixed pretty quickly as I imagine it's pretty unsafe to drive it this way. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix it? By the way, my car is an '07 tC, only had it for 4 months.

 

Take it to the dealer. There is no reason to mess with an item thats under warrnty. Also check and see if you can see any thing that may have been damaged and fell to the floor below the seat.
