wow... I have that flash, just never used it that way... only on the shoe. Thats a pretty good idea though. I still am not very good as changing the light settings on the flash... I can never seem to get the settings right, but with long exposures like I shoot, the flash doesnt need to be perfect.

i've got about 14gb's total between my memory cards....

o_O That's exactly what I have, except I have the XTi body. I just tried out my new 55-250mm lens the other day. Good stuff!

 

now I have always used smaller media cards... I done have a single card over 1gb because I dont want to have a card go bad on me with all of my photos on it, ie. weddings, or when I mount the camera to my car... Am I just paranoid? or does anyone else only use smaller cards rather than bigger 4gb cards?

 

yeah i dont want an overly large card for same reason.. but now it has a recovery software but we never know. I have an 8 Gb Extreme IV and that's the biggest i wanna go

 

i usually stick to 4gb cards cuz i've heard about some cameras sometimes having problems with the larger ones...

 

same here. i dont plan to buy anything bigger than 4 gigs. i might even get 2 more 2 gigs instead of one single 4 gig. i did have a CF die on me once (not with the rebel) so i am a bit paranoid. lol
