Default new owner in the house!

hey everyone... just purchased my 07 tc saturday, and it is supposed to be here tomorrow. long time lurker, first time poster.

i got the nautical blue of course, manual. I also ordered the trd springs as well, hoping it will lower the wheel well just a bit. anyways, I live in York, PA and i notice a few driving around town. I have been here for a year, (just purchased a house, and im out on my own) and own 4 vehicles.. I have a wild artic silver porsche 944, which i am selling.. ive owned for 8 years, and just recently had to dump 3k to fix 2 problems, and its always been this way. I would say my 944 hands down roasts most sub 25k imports in handling, and its got a bit more life in it as a larger 4 cyl. however, i need something reliable, and dependable. I blew up the head gasket in my 01 sebring, however it had 170k on it as a 01. i also have a 99 gixxer sixer .. i guess thats the fastest thing in my stable.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone, and since I never leave anything stock, I should have one wild project tc here comming up in the next year or so. I dropped about 25k in the whole 8 years i owned the porsche, so this car should be a breaze with no maintanince! (those old german cars are murder on the wallet!)

Tq/Tc

what color is yours? I live on the "west side" of york, twards getting on rt30. Looks like there is quite a few other scions running around town as well someone else in my development own "da box" as well.
Good to meet someone else right in town! did you get yours from deihl as well? I bought mine from this gentleman named Ed, very easy transaction.

see ya soon!

I AM GOING TO GET MY CAR TODAY YAY!

Welp, Id really want to do some type of forced induction.
but at the 1st oil change mark, im going to add the trd struts/shocks to go along with the trd springs on already. I am also going to stop at the honda dealership on my way home and pick up the s2k antenna (it just screws on right?) for the stubby.

Id like to stay trd parts most of the way until i run out of the 36000 mile warranty, then i am leaning twards the turbo more than the S/C. UNLESS i see a 07 trd SC come out, even though its less hp then most of the aftermarket setups it seems, it probally will last a bit longer.

Yup, s2k antenna screws right in. Why all TRD part? Are you installing parts on your own? If you're up to it you should try to install your own parts, you will save a lot of money and learn a lot at the same time. Dealerships charge up the a$$ for labor. Most aftermarket parts will be about the same price or even cheaper and be much better performance wise. There's enough info on SL to do all the installs yourself.

I did get mine from deihl and yeah it was pretty easy I was in the dealer for a total of about 45min. Mine is flint mica and i am south of york loganville to be exact. I gotta get springs too but i think i will go with hotchkis because i want to do sways at the same time. Maybe by spring we can find enough other scions to meet up one weekend.
