Default New tC pics!

Well I picked it up last night as planned. These are horrid pictures I know, but just wanted to get a few up is all. I work for the largest camera company in the world so I will be sure to take a few decent ones this weekend, maybe at the beach or something.

On a side note a few things that I would change about the tC or that I am not super overly excited about: Front Grille, Shift **** and the stock tires. Other than that I think for the money it is likely one of the best cars on the road. And all the nit picky things mentioned before can and will be changed shortly.

Are the '08s higher than previous years? I don't remember my car being that high.

Thanks man! ^^

Love the car so far, very pleased. Great service too!

The first two modifications will likely be the grille and a drop. I am undecided between the Tanabe and TEINs at this point.

Yes that is the premium navigation system, I am somewhat new to NY so it is great. I love the sound system too, very decent quality for stock.

Did they completely remove the flip down cover to put in that nav? That would irritate me. Although it does look good like that. I would want to be able to hide a part like that when parking in sketchy places.

Actually, If you opt to get the Nav system, they take the cover off for you because it will not fit from what i've heard and seen.

Is that nav system a Scion offered option or a dealer installed option? I was assuming it was just one of those things some dealers add to the cars, but I went on the scion.com site and apparently nav is an option on the '08's. I have an '05 so I'm a bit out of the loop on these new options.

yea, they remove the door cause it will not fit.
Chris, go with the tein springs, I had them on my tC, no problems whatsoever

I am thinking TEIN S-Tech springs with TRD shocks/struts. Any other opinions on this setup?

if ur gonna go with a full setup with shocks/struts I would personally go with a tein coilover set

Basics? I had them on my Civic, they were decent. What are they like on the tC? Is it worth it to go with the SS?

If I were to just get the S-Techs would I not have to change the shocks/struts? I always figured that was a given to ensure not blowing them. At least that is the way it was in the Honda world.

I would go with the SS...and if you wanna be a big baller get the EDFC for it too...as far as the S techs go, I didnt go with the shocks/sruts...your gonna def blow out the shocks/struts sooner than later with the S techs, but for the amount of money your gonna spend on the springs, shocks and struts you may as well spend a few bucks more and get the adjustable coilovers
