The trip took us 5 days. We stopped for a day to see the Grandfolks and stopped for a day at Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. It can probably be done in 3 days w/o dilly-dallying.

Yup, the tC is stock.

It is suposed to be. I have known about this trailer now for months, and I even signed up for updates, but as of yet, I havent heard of any release dates.

Nice lil trip you did.

I drove my tC from Milwaukee to Daytona Beach for Spring break, which took me about 20 hours. No major problems occured, but if I had one complaint, it would be the wind noise coming from the moon roof when you're going top speed (has anyone else experienced this? It was quite bad). Yes, it was closed. Although, my body didn't ache from sitting in one position for that long, I couldn't stand driving for that period of time and will never do it again.

That's the only way to drive away from Camp Lejeune...very very fast! I know I did when I left that place.

Man, you are lucky to have driven cross-country in such a nice car.

Back in '97 when I did it, I was in a white Subaru DL. Of course, that thing got 35+ miles to the gallon and on the highway, I could drive it 500 miles between fill-ups, butI would pick the tC over it any day!
